Education is our Weapon of Mass Reconstruction

In this Information Age, Afrikans are targets of European and American psychological warfare that consumes and controls our minds and our labour.

Generations of Afrikans have sacrificed their sweat, blood and souls for the purpose of Afrikan redemption. We, the Afrikan warriors of today, need to take up our minds and fight with our all in one accord, rather than perish in the modern hells of sub-human bondage.

Literacy, numeracy, content and purpose are the active ingredients, and education is the weapon of our choice.

“Education develops the intellect; and the intellect distinguishes man from other creatures. It is education that enables man to harness nature and utilize her resources for the well-being and improvement of his life. The key for the betterment and completeness of modern living is education. But, ‘Man cannot live by bread alone’. Man, after all, is also composed of intellect and soul. Therefore, education in general, and higher education in particular, must aim to provide, beyond the physical, food for the intellect and soul.” –Haile Selassie I

Education, therefore, is our Weapon of Mass Reconstruction. We should always try to decipher truth that is relevant and practical. If we fail to think and use our consciousness endowed by the Creator, we shall remain enslaved to the ideas, morals, values, institutions and systems of the European masters.

Most Caribbean and Afrikan nation-states are remnants of slavery and colonialism. Afrikan masses in Barbados, like those all over, have been indoctrinated and socialised within the criminal vestiges of the racist slavery institution under the previous plantocracy, the imperialist system of government, and the white supremacist, laissez faire, capitalist regime of today.

From beneath the stink and immoral pits of European chattel enslavement of Afrikans, we must substantively repair our progeny, and continue cutting the clear path as defined by our Great Ancestors. History proves that the collective Afrikan spirit has been steadfastly organising towards freedom, human rights and justice.

As Afrikans, are we free in our conscience and expression? Are the people, economic systems, social structures and political institutions serving an independent and sovereign nation? Can you identify which rules and limitations continue to bond us physically and spiritually? However, the real question remains clear: “How shall we determine our Afrikan destiny?

We must search, uncover and reconstruct the fundamental systems, rules, and relations because they predict our way of life, hence our destiny. We must be wise in discerning among many teachings; we must be sober in prudence. To create our glorious Afrikan destiny, we must reuse the proven tools that are capable of liberating our minds and souls.

We must never forget that we possess the capacity to think, decide and organise using multifarious tools. Afrikans speak many languages, and have memorised intricate codes of writing to convey meaning. Our cultural artforms are immaculate conceptions furthermore our belief systems and religious orders.

When Afrikans observe and analyse nature, we innately reveal the hidden science, and apply our findings to better our quality of life. We nurture our children with all of our heart.

Despite the plagues of death in the forms of enslavement, genocide, viruses, brain-drain and other psychopathologies, take a broad look across the Afrikan continent. The new millennium dawns with the light of Afrikan Unity shining forth.

Our Afrikan genius has already conceived international institutions like the United States of Africa, the African Union Government, the Union of African States and the Global Afrikan Congress to rescue Afrikan people from this mortal white supremacy.

It is a prerequisite that we be properly educated in order to collectively achieve our goals. Let us join in mind with our architects and masons as they design our Afrikan destiny.

We, the people, are the reason for building societies with the mortar of morality, human rights and justice. The fundamental pillars are being set in the African Union while simultaneous harmonisation takes place in the Caribbean Single Market and Economy, and the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas .

To recreate a bright future, our health-care, agricultural and techno-industrial sectors demand a higher level of integration of humans, animals, plants, materials and machines, hardware and software.

To this end, Afrikans will become a united people when we purposefully gather in one conscience and aim it towards our highest potentials. In this pursuit, we must be morally disciplined, and loyal to the sacred mission of education. Our spiritual powers must be rooted in exercise, prayer and meditation.

When we have truly liberated our minds, our beliefs become law, and our dreams become part of the rising Afrikan destiny. When we have become truly liberated, we will open up a connection with the voice and vision emanating from within our brilliant genetic characters.

A very good read! One by one we can reach our lost people and teach them what we have learned and fight these barriers that hold us back together.

I love to have our own schools. Many years ago,I was one of ten to be marched in Tuscaloosa,Alabama with my mom who was a civil rights worker, too an all white middle school, at that time, the dogs, the police the name calling, the stares, for what, I ask you.I was use to attending a all black school, church etc….I could feel the love there, the new school divide us one black child per class room, the funny thing is I can’t remember one thing I learned there, other than I hated it and they hated me for being there. My Mom who is in her late 70’s now.said just the other day”I wish we had fought to assimilate because in our fight to force integration,we lost everything including our integrity”.Now thats something to hear from someone her age….We’ve tried the intergration its not working…..our young black males are still feeling the jails and graveyards more than any other race….Maybe we should shoot for our towns of “The Allensworth”,The Black Wall Streets or “The Rosewoods”,to name a few.But until then our on schools would be a start….Maybe our children would feel as though we let them down…..
