Can we please stop giving everyone ammo to use against us? I wasn’t going to say anything until I heard a child say “with attitude” that she is a Strong Independent Black Woman. I’m not bashing black women, I am one so please don’t go there. This is WHAT I SEE and if you disagree, that’s on you….
OAH is asking WHAT DO YOU SEE? Comment below
We ask each member of the OAH family to purchase a copy of the magazine and support cultural revolutionist and the cultural revolution in Barbados. Only we can make that change for the sake of the future generations of Afrikans here in the west.

i am what i am. there is no help for me and there is no man for me. i have filled the role so often myself that there is no need for a man any longer. if you walk barefoot long enough you will get calluses. this didnt happen over night, we have been uncared for for so long that it became either adapt or die, a common human trait is to adapt. now that we have adapted we are the bad guys, huh? i dont snap my finger, pop gum abnoxiously, or roll my head… but anyone challenging me male of female quickly find it better to be on my side. i dont wnat to be a man but my children must eat, have shelter, be educated and well mannered. if no man is present it still must be done so i will. alone. and without complaint. deal with the calluses on the foot that you walked on black men/ world or learn to care for us better.
I agree with everything you said Queen Sistah; many thanks for speaking on this issue!!!
This is what happens when you ascribe to being a brand instead of who you reall are. Being Black is nothing more than being a brand,as is saying your white, spanish, asian, ethiopian etc. We are Muurish Americans. That is our nationality and as far as a 14 year old saying they are strong. Well they are biologically adults and we have the responsibility to teach them what a true wombman really is. It is not her fault that she associates money, and manlessness with being strong, it is us the older women’s fault for not showing and setting the proper example to her and millions of others who think like her.
There is enough love for everyone in this fractured African civilization and we must rebuild it! And we are not loving unless we are sharing. This video was very instructive with a lot of lessons for both men and women. Nuff love to the Queen that brought the message.
